Hazelden Betty Ford Inpatient Detoxification

The Bundled Rate plus Outlier Per Diems includes:

1. Detoxification is medically based care to support patients through the withdrawal process. The length of stay is based on medical necessity criteria and individual patient need not exceeding 5 days. 2. An initial screening will be completed prior to admission to ensure that the level of care can appropriately meet patient’s unique needs. The Bundled Rate period begins on the day of the procedure for the scheduled Accarent Procedure and covers up to 5 inpatient days in the hospital. Should the length of stay exceed 5 inpatient days, then per diem outlier payments will be applicable for each subsequent inpatient day. The bundled rate period ends at discharge.

Candidacy for the bundled procedure will be determined by the Provider.
